Imagine stepping into a dimly lit haunted attraction, where a sense of dread begins the moment you step foot on the scare-grounds. The air is thick with the scent of damp earth and the distant, echoing groans of something—or someone—unnatural. Shadows dance along the blood-splattered walls, flickering under the weak glow of lanterns that seem to barely push back the surrounding darkness.

There's so much about Dead Whispers to tell. Having worked in the Haunt industry for decades, Bill Carroll has brought a theatrical style approach to his carefully designed Haunted Attractions. With a few already done years ago in the past here in Virginia, in 2024 the decision was made to bring it back and have it at the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds. Turned out to be a huge success with over 3800 guests going through our haunted hallways and rooms in only 8 days.

2026 is coming, and it's an all-new theme, and we've added a few new things to make it an immersive experience. in our 6000 sq ft Haunted Attraction inside. Then once you've survived, enjoy our entertainment every night with DJ SKelly, and we also offer food trucks and other kinds of Vendors, inside and out!

With over 30 incredible Volunteers, this year is going to be even bigger, better, scarier, more detailed, more decor and a lot longer to get through. Will you survive?
